Day 1 - Depart from the USA to Addis Ababa via Ethiopian Airlines.
Arrive in Addis Ababa.Overnight Hilton Hotel.
Day 2 - Morning flight to Bahir Dar.
Upon arrival, transfer to the Tana Hotel. Lunch followed by afternoon boat excursion to the peninsula on Lake Tana visiting the monastery of Ura-Kidanemihretm, and then return to Bahir Dar for dinner and overnight at the Tana Hotel.
Day 3 - Bahir Dar: a morning drive to the Blue Nile falls.
Return to town in time for lunch. Afternoon tour of the summer vacation home of Emperor Haile Selassie. Dinner and overnight once again at the Hotel Tana.
Day 4 – Bahir Dat-Gonder: Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Gonder.
Transfer to the Goha Hotel for check in and then you will begin your visit of this small town. Dinner and overnight at the Goha Hotel.
Day 5 – Gonder-Lalibela: Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Lalibela.
Upon arrival transfer to the Roha Hotel for check in and lunch. Your first visit of Lalibela begins in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the Roha hotel.
Day 6 – Lalibela: Visit continues to the second group of churches this morning.
Lunch at the hotel and the rest of the day is free to do as you wish. Dinner and overnight at the Roha hotel.
Day 7 – Lalibela-Axum: Transfer to the airport for your flight to Axum.
Arrival and transfer to the Yeha Hotel. Sightseeing includes ruins of palaces and other sites pertaining to Sheba, as well as to the famous church, which supposedly contains the Ark of the Covenant. Dinner and overnight at the Yeha Hotel.
Day 8 – Axum-Addis Ababa: Morning flight back to Addis Ababa.
The rest of the day is free to do what you wish. Overnight at the Hilton Hotel.
